Accessory breast can be controlled to an extent through diet and the size of Accessory breast can be reduced.* There is no relationship with breast cancer, so it is fine to live with it if it is bearable. However, surgery may be a good option in the case that it is too big, causes pain or if you are expecting to be pregnant. It is normal to have some armpit fat. Your axilla or underarm area will appear saggy or with a ‘double wave’ that will make your clothes look strange i.e. a fat bulge around your bra area.

Most people would imagine they have fat around armpit, it could be an axillary accessory breast tissue. This is mostly a congenital condition where you will have an additional breast lacking areolae or nipples along embryologic mammary streak especially on chest wall, vulva, knee, lateral thigh, buttock, face, neck, ear or armpit.
When you have it on your chest wall or armpit area, it can easily be confused with underarm fat. It is found in 2-6% of women and 1-3% of males. It can be corrected by mainly surgical incision or liposuction.*
